In my last months working at Health Club Fit2Move, we developed a new fitness workout, ‘Intensity’.
Based on the newest trends in fitness: Insanity, HIIT, GRIT, crossfit, Gladiator etc, we created this new workout. We used the basic principles of these trends: high intensity interval training. This means: working out on high intensity, but in intervals (high-low intensity) in a short time (20-40 minutes) to be done 2-3 times a week. Every instructor made it’s own freestyle workout out of it but we all agreed on some basic rules, so we could all guarantee the result: weight loss, muscle sculpting and enhanced condition.
My freestyle Intensity class is called #IMintensity. I prefer to use the step or to train outdoors (for example in the park, but could also be in a parking lot or even in the street), mostly I workout in 4 times 6 sets of 40 seconds high intensity – 20 seconds low intensity or rest and if possible, I like to use music to pump up the energy. I always offer 3 levels in the same class: static, dynamic and plyometric.
I like doing as well as giving this class and I most definitely recommend it, because the results are proven (we’ve tested it: 60 days, 3 times a week results in to weight loss and tighter body structure), it doesn’t take up a lot of time, you can do it almost everywhere and it gives you a lot of energy (I’ve seen how addictive it is)!
