IMcommunication: Stichting Job en Lot

On the 29th of February we (= Fit2Move team) helped organizing the kick-off for ‘Stichting Job en Lot’. This is a new foundation that aims to help people suffering from a depression by means of running therapy. Running therapy is proven to be very effective but is still expensive. This is why many patients who could benefit from this therapy can’t afford it. ‘Stichting Job en Lot’ wants to make it easy for those people to get this therapy and hopefully recover from their depression.

‘Stichting Job en Lot’ is named after Job en Lotte Mulderij. Job suffered from a manic depression. He was a kind and loved man, by his wife, his sons and his family and many friends. He wanted to live life to the fullest, but his depressive feelings stood in the way of his ambitions. He did not find the right treatments and eventually didn’t had the strength left to live. He paid his ultimate goodbyes to family and friends on the 29th of August 2011. Lotte is his wife and wants to make something good out of his loss. She is now benefiting from running therapy to deal with loosing Job and wants to help other people like Job, so they will find the strength to go on living and even more: enjoying life.
